Neurotoxin can be used as a preventative or maintenance treatment. Dysport/Botox helps to soften fine lines and wrinkles or prevent wrinkles if used preventatively. It can also be used in areas like the masseters to help with teeth grinding/clenching, TMJ, and facial slimming. Dysport tends to kick in about 3-5 days after treatment, with full effects seen after 14 days post-treatment. Results tend to last 3-4 months if a full correction is performed.

Microtox is more of a “skin tox” since it is injected much more superficially and in smaller amounts to improve skin quality while preserving natural expression, compared to traditional Botox/Dysport muscle tox. Areas Microtox can be injected include face, neck/décolletage, and T zone.

Microtox also helps to shrink pesky pores and improve the appearance of the dermis. Amount of units is based on in-person evaluation. An average of 10-40 units is needed in the T zone, the exact amount is to be determined during the appointment.
